Being outside is a big part of Windlesham, with ample outdoor space in the rolling hills of the downs, and tree houses in the woods where children can play, camp and learn forest skills.

But inside the school there is plenty on offer. There’s a whole host of languages available to learn including Mandarin, French, Greek, Russian, Spanish and Italian.

There is also a focus on drama and music, with a purpose-built theatre and drama studio, and a variety musical instruments from pianos to the marimba, plus plenty of music groups to join from classical to rock to rap.

Children can explore their creative side, as design technology, food tech and art are at the heart of the school’s curriculum. Students work with wood, ceramics, clay and textiles, and the school benefits from a 3D printer and Apple Mac suite.
