Heartfelt thank you messages from The Angmering School
Students at The Angmering School have written heartfelt messages to thank key workers for all they are doing.
Head teacher Simon Liley said: “As we are currently an online school community, it is important to keep our sense of collective purpose.
“Our students are very community focused and want to support other local people, and in these times of stress we hope to bring some light to other people’s days, especially our key workers to whom we are extremely grateful.”
Phoebe, year nine: Thank you for everything you do for us.

Charlotte, year eight: Thank you for looking after everyone and making our country safe.
Alice, year nine: Thank you for everything you have been doing. We all appreciate it so much. Stay positive :)

Billy, year nine: Keep doing good work that is keeping our country together.
Jessica, year eight: Dear NHS staff, Thank you for all you’ve done for us so far! I know it will be a tough journey ahead but we are all cheering you on and we are all wishing the best for you. Thank you so much for working and saving lives instead of being with your families and for being determined! Well done! We can’t thank you enough.
Natalia, year 10: You’re doing amazing.
Jessica, year eight: Dear shop owners, Thank you for carry on working for us to make sure we are still able to get our supplies and still working even though there is risk of the virus spreading to you. Also, thanks for staying calm when there is probably abuse towards you from the customers. Keep on going!
Sophie, year nine: Thank you so much for your support, you are an amazing part to keeping our country going. Thank you ever so much. Stay well.
Chloe, year eight: Thank you to all the key workers. You are still going to work to help other people which is very, very kind. Without you working during this difficult time it would be really hard for everyone to cope. Thank you.

Jasmine, year 12:: I cannot even begin to thank all the key workers enough for all your hard work and determination at this current time. You always work extremely hard but I know that you are all pushing yourselves to the limit. Some of you are going to work every day risking your safety to help others and come together as one. Thank you once again to every single key worker, your services will not go unrecognised.

Thank you also to our supermarket workers - the shelves wouldn’t be filled without you and I just want you to know that the brilliant work that you are carrying out is not going unnoticed. You’re all fantastic!

Jessica, year seven: Thank you to all NHS Staff for risking your life to help people with COVID-19 and all the long hours you’re working. Thank you to all shop and supermarket staff for restocking the shelves so we can all eat and for keeping our community spirits up.
Emma, year seven: Well done to all the key workers to keep our country running.
Finlay, year eight: Thank you for everything you have done in these tough times, you have always been there, and it must be be horrible to not see your family, instead you are dedicating your time to us, and keeping us going. Thank you to the postmen and women for still delivering the parcels, thank you to the people behind the till at the shop so we can buy key things, thank you especially to the NHS for working full night shifts, and the amount of vulnerability they are giving to see the patients tested positive, is amazing. Thank you to the teachers, who will not be able to have their Easter holidays, instead they are teaching key worker children, giving them the best opportunity for the later life. So thank you to all of them.
Finn, year eight: I would like to say thank you to all the people who are helping keeping us safe and slowing the spread of COVID-19! I would like to say thank you to all the people working overtime to ensure our safety. Make sure you try and stay 2 metres apart at all times and keep washing your hands. Because like Tesco, every little helps.
Gabriella, year eight: You are amazing. You are the glue keeping the nation together. Keep going and stay strong.
Mason, year 11: Thank you guys so much, I am so grateful for the things you do day in and day out. If it weren’t for you, I would probably not be here today due to my brain tumour. Again I am just so thankful for all the lives you save. THANK YOU.

Erin, year nine: During these difficult times some people have sadly forgotten how to act towards our key workers who unlike some are still having to work on a daily basis to keep open our shops, hospitals, transportation. I would like to thank all of our transport drivers for still coming out to take people to work and so on. I would like to thank the shop workers and care workers for everything they do for us! And especially the NHS staff for doing so well and working so incredibly hard, we take a lot of things for granted in our lives and we also don’t always appreciate the incredibly hard amounts of work and effort put into these jobs. Thank you providing us with care and saving lives and for helping those who need it! Not all heroes wear capes!
Aaron, year seven: Thank you to all our key workers, especially my mum who is still going to work and making sure that children in schools are all being fed. Stay safe.
