Worthing nursery ‘travels the world’

The travel topic for Our Lady of Sion Nursery included visiting Hays Travel, where the children gathered armfuls of brochures.

They then created their own travel agency and airport, complete with their own aeroplane.

Jo Beard, marketing director, said: “For the nursery at Our Lady of Sion in Worthing, life is an adventure and all about creating childhood memories.”

For Chinese New Year, the children ‘visited’ China and came back with their own dragon. They have also visited Italy and made their own pizzas.

The highlight of their topic, however, was a visit from a British Airways pilot, who fly with them in their plane.

The nursery children were joined by reception for the trip. The children were all issued with passports and boarding passes before they ‘flew off’ on their adventure.
