The tier system, which was largely based on infection rates, has been temporarily abandoned in favour of a blanket approach aimed at stopping the spread everywhere in the country.

West Sussex has seen a mixed bag recently, with infection rates falling in some areas but increasing in others between the weeks commencing October 21 and October 28. Across Sussex, the rate of infection has dropped overall.
