Worthing covid vaccines: These are neighbourhoods where the most people have been vaccinated

The Covid-19 vaccination programme continues at an impressive pace in Worthing.

Figures from NHS England show 45,028 people in the town have received at least one dose of the vaccine, as of yesterday (March 4).

That is just under half of the population aged over 16.

A total of 25,750 people over the age of 60 – the age group considered to be the most vulnerable to hospitalisation – have been given at least one dose.

Here you can see which neighbourhoods have received the highest number of vaccinations and the number of the most vulnerable age group that have been protected.
