Free fat loss course launched by Littlehampton personal trainer

Littlehampton personal trainer Sam Edwards has launched a free fat loss course to help people lose some of the weight they have put on during lockdown.

Sam launched Lockdown to Lean online on July 13 and more than 20 people completed the five-day course in the first week.

Sam said: “The course is aimed at educating people in the principles of fat loss in a healthy, sustainable and realistic manner.

“The feedback has been great so far, with people telling me they’ve learned so much they never knew before and how the information is presented in such a simple way.

“This was exactly my goal, to provide people with only the essential information while trimming the fat from the nonsense they usually see in certain magazines and on social media.”

Sam, who works full time for West Sussex County Council and part-time as a personal trainer at Edwards Fitness Systems, gives five lessons over five days, covering nutrition, training and mindset.

He said: “I’d like to get more of the community involved, especially as the government seems to be highlighting how important shedding the lockdown weight will be in terms of health.

“It is completely free. All of the content is there for anyone who joins the Facebook group and it will stay that way. I do provide bespoke services if they want it but my main emphasis for the group was education.”
