Littlehampton Rugby Club players sign up to Movember campaign

The team has signed up for the Movember campaign to grow a moustache in November, with the encouragement of Ian Foden, from Littlehampton, who has been trying to sign up as many men in the town as possible for the fun fund-raiser.

So, until November 30, the rugby lads will be working on their whiskers and Ian hopes the town will support their efforts with generous sponsorship for the Prostate Cancer charity.

He is also busy organising what he described as West Sussex’s Biggest Official Movember Party, in the conference centre at Butlin’s, Bognor Regis, on November 26, featuring The Impellers and DJs TheHookandSling from Chichester’s Vestry.

Included in the ticket price is entry to a prize draw to win a very special car Ian has donated.

The classic Ford Capri was used by Old Spice last year to promote one of its after-shave brands, and at the same time publicise Movember, 2011.
