Full of life and eager to have fun, this is a dog who will keep you thoroughly entertained.

His favourite pastimes include splashing about in muddy puddles, playing fetch and completing his reward-based training.

Staff at the rehoming centre in Brighton Road, Shoreham, say that despite his happy-go-lucky character, Ricky has a few insecurities about the world around him.

Ricky can be unsure around strangers and likes to get to know people at his own pace.

But with a patient and gentle approach, as well as lots of tasty offerings you can begin to build the foundations for a lifelong, trusting friendship.

Rehoming centre staff say the labrador-cross is looking for a calm home environment with a garden of his own where his new family are all over 16-years-old and share his enthusiasm for long walks and his training programme.

Walks in less-frequented areas are required, so he can explore in peace, without the worry of lots of strangers and other dogs about.

Ricky is currently lacking in confidence and experience when it comes to socialising with other dogs and will need to be the only pet in the household.
