These old photos were sent in by Carol Sullivan and are taken from her family album.
Carol, of Brooklyn Avenue, Worthing, said: “The first photo was taken in about 1875 and shows The Cobden Inn.
“My great-grandmother, Alice Woodwards, née Thompson, aged about two, is standing on the steps with her parents, Alfred and Henrietta Thompson. Alfred ran the pub until the early 1890s.”
Another photo shows a class at Christchurch School, in 1936.
Carol’s father, Matthew Sullivan, is the boy second from left on the second row down.
Carol said: “I don’t know who the other children are but, hopefully, someone will.”
The final photo was taken at a baby show, at Salvington Windmill, in 1938.
Carol said: “My grandmother, Jessie Woodwards, is in the front row, third from the left. She is holding my mother, Shirley.
“My mother was a twin and, together with her sister and another set of twins, they won the show, and my grandmother was given the prize of 100cwt of coal.”
