A27 Hangleton reopened after two vehicles '˜collide and catch fire'

The A27 in Hangleton has been reopened following a collision involving two cars which reportedly caught fire.

The road was closed westbound between the A2038 Devil’s Dyke Road and the A293 near Hangleton, just west of Brighton.

It is believed two cars collided and caught fire.

Sussex Police, the fire service and the ambulance service were called to the scene.

The A27 has now been reopened.
