Ambulances respond to man found 'slumped' in Worthing town centre

Two ambulances have responded to an incident in Worthing town centre.

A van and critical care car were in Chapel Road, near to Worthing town hall, at around 6.15pm this afternoon (August 30).

An eyewitness reported seeing a man 'slumped' on the floor, being assessed by paramedics.

She was not sure whether the man had been stretchered into the waiting ambulance, which had its doors open ready to accept a patient.

South East Coast Ambulance service have been contacted for more information.
