She will talk about and sign copies of her new novel Holy Cow, which she describes as ‘part novel, part memoir, part animal rights manual’. Ruth, who has been a vegan for 40 years, and does not eat or drink any animal products, said: “I’ve written this book to raise awareness of the plight of animals imprisoned by the food industry.”

Tickets are £3 each available from Littlehampton library on 01903 716450 or by emailing [email protected]
