The free to attend event was a two day celebration of the Armed Forces past and present, with a number of attractions and displays organised by the Worthing Combined Ex-Services Association.

Attractions included stalls, and a drink and burger bar, along with displays from the Navy and Air Force cadets, and a flight demonstration from the BBMF Spitfire which circled the event three times.

A spokesman for the association said: “This is a wonderful spectacle every year. This important day aims to focus the nation’s expression of support, and appreciation for, the British Armed Forces and their work - past, present and future.”

On Saturday things kicked off from 10am, with stalls and displays open, along with live music and entertainment which went on until 5.30pm.

On Sunday the Drumhead service was carried out, with a number of veterans attending, as well as the Lord Lieutenant, High Sheriff, and mayor and mayoress Sean McDonald and Vicky Vaughan.
