Arriving in style at prom

A HELICOPTER, Ferrari and retro camper-van were unique modes of transport for departing students at Worthing High School’s Year-11 prom on Friday.

The celebration was held at the Avisford Park Hotel, near Arundel, with more than 140 students in attendance.

As they arrived in their luxurious modes of transport, the students were treated to a musicial performance by local jazz group The Milestone Collective.

Other transports methods included limousines, classic and sports cars.

Head teacher Carolyn Dickinson said: “Staff and students enjoyed the evening celebrations.

“It was lovely to see the students dressed in their formal attire and looking so splendid.

“We are looking forward to seeing all the year 11 students again on Thursday, August 22, at 10.30am, when we celebrate their GCSE examination results.”
