Arson attack on Durrington car

FIRE fighters were called to a burning car in Durrington after a suspected arson attack.

The blaze was reported at around 2.10am today (Sunday, March 14).

An Audi car was heavily alight in Whylands Avenue, Durrington.

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus took around half an hour to put out the flames and secure the scene.

Police officers also attended. A fire service spokesman said the fire is believed to have been started deliberately.
