FIREFIGHTERS were called to a video shop in Worthing after a security device was set off accidentally, filling the store with artificial smoke.

Blockbuster, in Chapel Road, had its fire alarm set off at around 11pm on Friday night (March 11) after the security device was triggered accidentally, causing non-harmful smoke to fill the store.

At 11.15pm, two fire engines from Worthing attended but left within 10 minutes when firefighters realised the smoke had not been caused by a fire.
