Arundel comedy night gives women top billing

A VERY funny evening will raise funds for a very serious cause.

Arundel Jailhouse will host a special “Women in Comedy” night, on Friday next week, to raise money for cancer charities.

Colin Baxter, who runs the venue, which is nestled in the bowels of Arundel Town Hall, said: “The aim of the night is to help raise the profile of some very talented women on the male-dominated comedy circuit while getting some dosh for well-deserved charities.”

Andrea Fox will compére, and the musical comedy genius that is Rachel Parris, pictured right, gets top billing.

The line-up also includes Sarah Hendrickx, Angela Barnes, Sam Savage, Sophie Buijsen and Roz Ryan.
