Ashington Horse Show winners announced

FANCY dress, clear-round jumping and a fun dog show were among the highlights of this year's Ashington Horse Show.

Held on Sunday, September 19, at Broadbridge Farm, the show also featured show jumping, showing, gymkhana and mini cross-country.

The fancy dress section featured a range of youngsters and their horses in different outfits, but in the end the winner was Dylan Alford with his outfit, Indian Brave with pony.

Ken Collins, of Storrington Rotary Club, said: “The Rotary Club are particularly pleased that they were once again supported by Horley Lions, who provided the catering for all to enjoy.

“As a result of this successful day, it is hoped to make significant donations to Lodge Hill Youth Activities Centre, Riding for the Disabled, and other charitable causes supported by Rotary.”
