Attack leaves dog walker with broken jaw

TWO men broke a dog walker’s jaw in a vicious attack in Sompting.

The 39-year-old victim was walking his dog in Cokeham Lane on Friday, May 30, at 11pm, when he was approached by a group of six people, two of whom attacked him.

He suffered a broken jaw, which requires an operation, and bruising to his face

The two suspects are both described as white men aged 18 to 20.

One is 5ft 5in tall, of average build with short blonde hair and was wearing a long-sleeved white jumper.

The other is 6ft tall, of average build with short dark hair and was wearing a red top.

Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to call 101 or email [email protected] quoting serial 426 of 31/5. Alternatively, call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
