Barclays Bank in Liverpool Gardens, Worthing has closed today after the ceiling collapsed in store.
A large sign that has been posted on the entrance to the branch stated: “Due to an unforeseen incident in branch we will remain closed today. Apologies for this inconvenience.”
Another notice next to it explained the shop closed due to a collapsed ceiling and electrical fault caused by water damage.
The next nearest branch is in Goring Road, West Worthing.
