Allison attracted many people by presenting on the roof of the bus and said it was ‘fantastic to be in Worthing’.

She added: “It is great to get out of the studio and meet the people who listen to us and who are proud of Worthing.

“It is a time to shout out and celebrate your town and get publicity – as well as tell us your stories.”

Worthing town crier Bob Smytherman said the bus tour shows what the newly developed Montague Place can be used for.
