Bikers deliver Easter treats to Chestnut Tree House

For the second year running, biker clubs in the area joined together to put smiles on the faces of children with life-limiting conditions.

Kathy Whyberd, treasurer of Highdown MCC, said: “It’s a very worthy cause, a few of us know families who have had children at the hospice.

“It was a brilliant day for it, the sun was shining on us and the kids loved it. It’s lovely to see a big burly biker hand over a teddy bear to a child and see their eyes light up.”
