Blaze wrecks mobile home near A259
FIRE crews from Littlehampton and Worthing were called out to a blaze near the A259 in the early hours this morning (Wednesday, April 3).
Two crews from Worthing and a team from Littlehampton attended the fire, at an agricultural nursery site off the A259, near Ferring, shortly after 2.13am.
A mobile home, currently under demolition on the grounds, was destroyed by the inferno, which fire officials believed ignited accidentally.
Officers used high-pressure water canons to quell the flames before leaving the area shortly before 4am.
