Blood smeared ondamaged vehicles

Seven vehicles parked at Winchelsea were vandalised and left smeared with blood in the early hours of Saturday August 30.

Vehicles parked in the High Street had their wing mirrors pushed back on their hinges. One vehicle also received a dent to the nearside wing. There was an vehicle whereby the glass of the mirror was found but the vehicle owner not identified. This happened between 4am and 4.30am.

PC Keren Moore said: “Whoever caused the damage has cut themselves as there was blood left on all the wing mirrors.

“The blood was also smeared on a property in the High Street and a window pane was smashed on a nearby road.

“We are appealing for any witnesses and also if anyone knows someone who has returned home after 4.30am with an injury to their hands.”
