Manager Shamim Ahmed ran a Special Event Day for Homecall and generously gave all profit from the event to the charity.

Jenny commented: "Homecall is very grateful to Sham and all the staff at the restaurant who looked after us so well and, of course, to everybody who came and supported this event.

"The meal was delicious and a magnificent 600 was raised for Homecall. Sham has been in business in Bexhill for some seven years now and came to Little Common in December last year.

He has worked hard to build up his good reputation locally and he is keen to support good causes in our area. It is the first time we have had a fundraiser like this and Sham has already told us he will be doing it again next year when we hope to build on the success of this year."
