Sedlescombe Short Mat Bowls Club received £100 towards much needed equipment to roll and unroll the bowling mats thanks to a generous donation by Battle and Villages Lions.

There are 33 members in the Club which meets at Sedlescombe Village Hall on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Chairman Ken Smith thanked Battle and Villages Lions President Paul Webb for the contribution.
