Brain tumour diagnosed following routine eye test

A WORTHING woman is urging people to get their eyes tested after a routine trip to Specsavers led to the discovery of a brain tumour.

Marion Underwood, of Marlow Road, Broadwater, underwent five hour surgery to remove the benign tumour in January.

Now, almost a year after she first went to the Worthing High Street opticians, she is encouraging others to do the same.
