BREAKING NEWS: Fire at Worthing Hospital - updated

FIRE crews from across the area were called to deal with a fire at Worthing Hospital this morning (Saturday, March 27).

Crew at Worthing Fire Station received a call at 8.04am stating that a fire had started inside a kitchen on the first floor of the hospital.

Eight fire engines from across the area, including ones from Worthing, Lancing, and Shoreham attended the old south wing at the front of the hospital in Lyndhurst Road.

The fire was said to be well alight but has now been extinguished.
