BREAKING NEWS: Horse plays havoc in Findon

A RUNAWAY horse on the A24 stunned motorists in Findon.

Police said they received "numerous calls" between 7.15am and 7.30am today (Monday, January 4) about a riderless horse spotted around Findon Village and on a grass verge next to the A24.

Police officers attended the scene and managed to secure the horse in Findon Cemetery at around 8am before it was taken away by its owners.

A police spokeswoman said: "It didn't appear to be stressed or anything and didn't cause any damage."
