BREAKING NEWS: Man arrested in connection with Findon stabbing

ARMED police have arrested a 34-year-old Worthing man on suspicion of murder after 79-year-old grandfather Donald Lock was stabbed on the A24 at Findon last night (Thursday, July 16).

A 34-year-old Worthing man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man, believed to be Donald Lock, was stabbed on the A24 at Findon last night.

Following information armed officers arrested a man in Worthing at 2pm today (July 17).

Detective Superintendent Adam Hibbert said: “A man is in custody on suspicion of murder. I continue to appeal to anyone who witnessed the collision on the A24 at 8.40pm last night or who may have CCTV or dashboard cameras of the area at that time, to come to assist our investigation.

“They should contact police on 101 or email [email protected] quoting Operation Wise.”
