BREAKING NEWS: Police make arrests in armed robberies investigation

Police investigating a series of armed robberies in the Worthing and Shoreham-by-Sea have arrested two suspects (Wednesday, March 18).

A 23-year-old man and a 35-year-old man from the Worthing area were detained by officers last night and remain in custody for questioning.

Detective Inspector Rob Walker, of Worthing CID, said: “These were serious incidents and we currently have a dedicated team working on the investigation.

“We are actively seeking to make arrests and would urge anyone with information that may help us to come forward as soon as possible.”
