BREAKING NEWS: Serious accident closes Rustington road
ASH Lane, Rustington, is closed this morning while the emergency services deal with a serious accident.
Police, fire crews and ambulances were called to the scene of the crash, near the junction with The Street/Station Road, at about 9.50am, after a car collided with a lamp post and a tree.
The Sussex Air Ambulance was also called out, although police could not confirm the extent of any injuries.
The road remained closed shortly after 11am and a further update will be added to the Gazette website when more is known.
