Temporary Road Closure: 8pm – 6am between the A21 junction with Westfield Lane, Church Lane, Main Road, Brede Hill, and Cackle Street on the A 28 for the entire length to the connection with the B2089. The A21 Sedlescombe North to the Old Harrow junction and Junction, Road A2100 in its entirety are also closed at the same time. Diversions will be in place, as will safe routes of passage for pedestrians and vehicular access to homes. This probably means our lanes will be busy so please take extra care when using them. The order for the operation to resurface the roads commences 14 August and covers a period of 18 months however weather permitting they hope to end 22 August. The signs shows 6 days so we must be optimistic that the disruption will be kept to a minimum and not hinder the businesses in our community.

Apologies: two apologies, firstly the Village dance did not take place on Saturday but it will be back 6th September also Messy Church did not take place but will be back on the 2nd September. I am only as good as the info given to me or that I can source. I still hope no one was too put out.
