Bridal department at charity shop showcased
The St Barnabas House shop in Worthing's West End in preparing to showcase its bridal department.
A huge selection of both new and pre-loved wedding dresses, together with a full range of accessories, will be on show at the open evening on Thursday, December 15, from 6pm to 8.30pm.
Mulled wine and mince pies will be on offer while people browse and the event ties in with Worthing’s late-night shopping event.
Shop manager Linda Abraham said: “Although the shop sells a wide range of ladieswear, menswear, children’s clothes and accessories, the open evening is the chance for us to show off our bridal department.
“It will give brides the opportunity to see the fantastic range that we have available, in a relaxed atmosphere.
“We’ll be on hand to offer help and advice on the night and look forward to welcoming everyone. We’re hoping people will pop in and see what we have.”
Each dress is unique and there are lots of styles to choose from. Sizes range from 8 to 18, in ivory, white and a few other colours
The bridal department also sells veils, shoes, tiaras and headwear, together with a large selection of bridesmaids’ dresses and gentlemen’s tuxedos, dress shirts, cravats, bow-ties and shoes.
With dresses for the mother-of-the-bride too, the bridal department is a one-stop shop for the big day.
There will also be a great selection of evening and cocktail dresses available on the open evening.
Brides-to-be who cannot make it on the night can ring Linda on 01903 823424 for information or an appointment.
The shop is situated at 11 Rowlands Road, Worthing, and is normally open 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, and 10am to 4pm on Sunday.
