Burgler disturbs sleeping home-owner in Pulborough

A burglar who disturbed a sleeping home-owner in Pulborough escaped with two laptop computers on Wednesday (July 17).

The man was asleep in his home in Little Dippers at around 12.30am when he was awoken by a torch being shone on him.

Detective Constable Andy Hobden said: “This was obviously a very disturbing incident for the victim. A police dog tracked a scent east along fields at the back of Little Dippers towards the White Hart public house but no-one was found.

“I’d like to hear from anyone who may have been in the area around that time, who may have recently been offered a secondhand laptop or who has any other information that may be of help.
