Businesses back RNLI with cash

One member took it upon himself to organise an evening at the Newtown Sports and Social Club in North Bersted in aid of the lifeboats.

Terry Miller single-handedly enlisted the help of 58 local businesses and individuals who contributed prizes for a raffle to benefit the Selsey branch of the RNLI.

The evening was a resounding success and a cheque for 514.03 was recently presented at the Greencourt Drive club by Terry to officials from the charity.
