Car collides with front porch of house in Angmering

Arundel Road has been cordoned off in both directions as West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service secure the building.

A silver Mazda has collided with the front of a house, causing structural damage.

South East Coast Ambulance Service and Sussex Police are also on the scene.

A spokesman for the fire service said: “We were called to reports of a road traffic collision at 3.07pm this afternoon on Arundel Road in Angmering.

“Joint Fire Control mobilised one crew from East Preston Fire Station to the scene, and upon arrival firefighters found a vehicle that had collided with a property. Officers from Sussex Police were also in attendance.

“Firefighters provided scene safety and requested the attendance of a building inspector at the scene, before booking away from the incident at 4.36pm.”
