Car thief hunt in Worthing

POLICE are on the hunt for a thief who broke into two cars in High Salvington.

A Volvo had its passenger front window smashed while it was parked in Hayling Rise between 10pm on Wednesday, March 10, and 6.45am the following morning.

A laptop, Satnav and wallet was stolen from the vehicle.

The wallet was found empty further down the road by a dog walker on Thursday morning.

A VW Golf was also broken into while it was parked in Woodland Avenue between 4pm on Wednesday, March 10, and 8am the following morning.

The car was broken into by drilling the lock on the drivers side and items stolen include a Satnav, CD's and a school PE bag containing Worthing High School football kit.

Police believe both incidents were committed by the same person or persons.
