Centenary House evacuated due to fumes

Sussex Police received reports of an evacuation at Centenary House in Durrington Lane, Durrington, at 1.45pm on today (Monday, December 14) due to fumes from the kitchen.

West Sussex Fire and Rescue arrived on the scene at 1.45pm and evacuated the building. Five people are currently being assessed.

Two crews from Worthing were first on the scene, followed by a control unit from Bognor Regis and crews from Chichester and Shoreham.
