The 25-year-old loves health and fitness and spent 14 weeks preparing for the competition, which was held in St Albans, Hertfordshire, at the end of October.

Kat, of Longlands, Worthing, said: “It was my first fitness competition. I entered two categories, Ms Bikini Short and Fitness Model.

“I won Ms Bikini Short and then won the trophy for Overall Ms Bikini, out of all the height classes and ages ranges, and Best Butt. I also came third in the Fitness Model Category, which has more muscle definition than Ms Bikini.

“I won a sponsorship with a bikini company, a modelling contract and have been contacted by nutrition companies to be their sponsored athlete.”

In the build-up to the competition, Kat trained seven days a week, doing a fasted cardio routine every morning and adding a weight session in the afternoon six days a week. Two days of the week were focused on legs, two on shoulders, one on the back and one on arms.

For the last six weeks before the big day, she ate five meals a day, including a lot of chicken, fish, rice and broccoli.

She will now compete at Pure Elite on Sunday, in Margate, Kent, where she will be representing her sponsor, bikini company La Diva Design.

Kat trains at David Lloyd Leisure in Durrington and Underground Gym in Portslade. She also does Muay Thai boxing at Gym Xtreme in Worthing.

She said: “I am competing in another pro competition in April with Miami Pro and if I win that, I get paid to go to Vegas to compete there.

“Winning in Vegas would mean being a very successful fitness model globally. I would like to become a personal trainer and help coach other girls who want to compete.”
