Charitable trust secures funds for mower

Nepcote Green Charitable Trust applied for the funding in order to purchase a second-hand mower to be used on Nepcote Green.

Numerous adverse comments had been made by villagers about the state of the green’s grass verges.

The mower will enable villagers to take over the responsibility of cutting the grass from the council.

Currently the verges are only mowed three times a year.

The application was supported by councillor Deborah Urquhart, member for Angmering and Findon.
