Ghodsi, who runs Ghodsi’s Barbers in Warwick Street, held the event as a one year memorial for her late husband, Alan Young.

She shaved Sally Ireland’s locks, raising £779.50 for Home for Good and £524.88 for Chestnut Tree House.

Ghodsi also kindly pledged to match the amounts raised.
