Charity spinning

TWO friends will ‘spin’ for 12 hours this weekend to raise money for St Barnabas House.

Claire Flux, 34 and Donna Moule, 35, decided to complete the challenge at Splashpoint Leisure Centre after attending spin classes together.

They will complete the challenge on Saturday from 7am to 7pm.

Donna, of Gaisford Close, Worthing, said: “We are raising funds for St Barnabas in honour of my friends brother, Will Blake, who sadly spent his last weeks in St Barnabas before passing away at the age if 25. Their support to Will and his family was invaluable.

“We decided we needed something quite epic to help us raise as much money as we could.

“I believe this will be very difficult- we will be approximately riding the equivalent 200-250 miles each.

“In order to elevate the boredom and make a hard challenge even harder, some of the Worthing Leisure spin instructors will be attending at various times throughout the day carrying out an actual spin class for us on a third bike.”

There will also be a raffle on the day.
