Charters Ancasters fun runners

Gales and driving rain did not deter the Charters Four on Sunday.

They were four pupils from Charters Ancaster school who joined Head of PE Susie Casebourne at the Bexhill Runners fun run at the Polegrove.

The determined youngsters were Oliver Platts, Chloe Baker, Jack Casebourne and Alexandra Cheeseman.

The run, which preceded the Remembrance Sunday Half Marathon staged by Bexhill Runners, was cheered on by family and friends and the four runners from Charters Ancaster all chose to enter the 1km race.

Susie Castbourne will take part in the forthcoming Hastings Marathon in December.
