Firefighters were called to Sunflower in Salvington Road, Worthing, at around 10.30am today (May 9) to reports that a kitchen extractor fan was on fire. Three fire engines from Worthing Fire Station were sent, and four firefighters wearing breathing apparatus and one high pressure hose reel quenched the flames. The fire is not being treated as suspicious. The crews left the scene at 11.50am.
