Council depot is covered in graffiti

VANDALS broke into a depot belonging to Adur and Worthing Borough Councils and covered it with graffiti.

Steel storage units and a white van were tagged numerous times with black spray paint.

A council spokesperson said: “Illegal tagging (on any surface) is an unsightly criminal offence which Adur and Worthing Councils do not tolerate, acting appropriately to remove all instances as quickly as possible.”

They added that the work was ‘of no artistic or commercial value, an unsightly nuisance and expensive to clean off.’

The units and van were cleaned today.
