Council to close roads for resurfacing

West Sussex County Council announced that several road closures may be enforced to protect workers and the public.

The Broadway Service Road and Deneway in Lancing will be closed for two days and The Street, Lancing, for one.

Southdownview Close, Boxgrove, and Westbourne Avenue in Worthing will each be closed for two days.

The council has said that residents will still have access to their properties throughout the works but delays are likely.

The council is warning residents the newly laid surfaces may be sticky and to take care to avoid it being walked into homes.

The works will go ahead subject to the weather.
