Councillor’s Worthing garden opens to the public

A COUNTY councillor is opening up her award-winning garden to the public for charity.

As part of the National Garden Scheme, Durrington and Salvington councillor Trixie Hall is hoping to raise money for nursing charities.

The scheme sees thousands of gardens across England and Wales, many of which are usually private, open up to the public to raise money for various charities.

Mrs Hall’s 70ft by 80ft garden will be open on July 19 and 23, between 2pm and 5pm. Entry is £4 and children under ten go free. It includes a pond, summerhouse, patio areas with pergolas, nine silver birch trees and much more.

The garden can be found at Six, Plantation Rise, Worthing, BN13 2AH.
