Couple'sgoldencelebration

An Aldwick couple were joined by many of their friends for a garden party to celebrate their golden wedding anniversary.

Pat and Harry Hall, of Grangefield Way, met at a dance in London on March 18, 1953. They continued to write while Harry was in Egypt on national service.

The couple married on June 8, 1957, in London and came to live briefly in Aldwick in the 1960s when their children '“ Claire and David '“ were small. They returned in 1988 and have stayed ever since.

Pat and Harry, both aged 73, are keen tennis players and play in both the Bognor and Middleton clubs.

Pat is an active member of the National Womens' Register '“ a collection of discussion groups '“ and belongs to a lively book group.

Harry is an enthusiastic gardener and is avidly interested in anything scientific. The couple are proud grandparents of Ben and Molly.
