Eastbourne Police seized a takeaway driver’s car for failing to have insurance on Friday, May 2.

Eastbourne Police seized the vehicle during one of its patrols of the town in the late hours of Friday evening.

Eastbourne Police said in a statement: “This take away driver unfortunately had his car "taken-away" for failing to have insurance.“Even if you use a car for business purposes make sure you have the current valid insurance.“**No takeaways were harmed in this recovery**”
